Who we are

Dastoor is a family-run wedding and event venue group in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India, operating three venues — Garden, Delite and Harmony — under the Dastoor brand. This website (https://www.dastoorgarden.com) and the enquiry form on it are operated by Dastoor.

What we collect

When you submit the enquiry form or initiate a payment we collect:

• First and last name
• Mobile / WhatsApp number with country code
• Email address (optional)
• Venue of interest, occasion, guest count, preferred dates, accommodation needs, meal preference
• Any free-text notes you choose to share
• Technical metadata: IP address, browser user-agent string, the URL parameters that brought you to the site (UTM)
• For payments: name, mobile, email, billing details and the gateway-issued transaction reference. We do not store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or netbanking password — those are captured on the payment gateway’s PCI-DSS-compliant page (Razorpay, CCAvenue, PayU or HDFC SmartGateway) and never traverse our servers.
• For WhatsApp conversations (initiated via the WhatsApp Business API operated by Meta): your WhatsApp display name, phone number and the messages you exchange with us.

The site does not set advertising cookies. We use no third-party trackers beyond Google Fonts (for typography delivery).

Third-party processors

To deliver service we share specific data with the following processors. Each is bound by their own privacy policy and terms; we share only what is needed.

• Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business) — to send and receive WhatsApp messages for booking communication. Subject to Meta’s Privacy Policy.
• Razorpay, CCAvenue, PayU, HDFC SmartGateway — payment processing. Subject to each gateway’s policy.
• SMS Gateway Hub — DLT-compliant transactional SMS (OTP, booking confirmation) via the DSTOOR sender ID. Subject to TRAI / DLT regulation.
• Google Workspace — internal email infrastructure for staff.
• Vercel — static-site hosting for this website.

Why we collect it

• To respond to your enquiry and shape a written quotation
• To arrange a site visit at a time that suits you
• To send transactional communications about your booking once confirmed
• To keep an internal audit of enquiries for service-quality and dispute purposes

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not share it with any party outside Dastoor.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are retained for two years from the date of submission unless the booking proceeds, in which case standard business records are retained for seven years in line with Indian taxation requirements. You may request earlier deletion at any time by writing to info@dastoorgarden.com.

Your rights

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correct any inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete your information — see our user data deletion page for the specific steps
• Withdraw consent for further contact
• Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India under the DPDP Act 2023

Email info@dastoorgarden.com for any of the above; we acknowledge within two business days and act within thirty days.

Children

The website and enquiry form are intended for adults arranging events. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry data is stored in our internal systems behind authenticated access. We treat personal information with the care we would expect for our own families.

Updates to this policy

We update this page as our practices evolve. Material changes are dated at the top.
